How to Connect to eduroam Wireless

Instructions
1. Go to Settings and select Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi service must be set to On

2. Select the wireless network eduroam

3. Enter the options required by the Android device as follows. You may need to scroll down to see all options:

  • Network: eduroam
  • EAP Method: TTLS
  • Phase 2 authentication: PAP
  • CA certificate: unspecified or Do not validate (note: Android 10 and up will need to run Join Now and the eduroam certificate must be selected.)
  • Identity: University Email (Example: 1901600014@sun.ac.ug)
  • Anonymous identity: leave blank
  • Wireless password: Soroti University Email Password

4. Select Connect

How to Connect eduroam on a Laptop

Step 1: Go to https://cat.eduroam.org

Step 2: Click Download eduroam as shown below

Step 3: Search & Click for Soroti University (SUN logo will appear)

Step 4: Click Download

Step 5: Go to your Downloads, Locate the file and double click it to run the file as shown below;
